| INSTRUCTIONS: |
- Start 1/4 shank length behind eye; wrap to bend. Tie in 3 Microfibetts, tips even; wrap down to bend.

- Lightly dub thread. Sandwich center tail fiber between length of thread looped under hook bend. Pull loop upward to separate tails to desired angle. Bind loop down with dubbed thread.
- Dub thinnest possible abdomen. Trim off Microfibett butts.

- Select 2 inch length Z-lon one-half thickness of finished post. Loop under shank, 1/4 shank behind hook eye. Pull both ends vertical. Wrap down under shank, then up behind post and down.
- Wrap thread forward under shank and up, once around post. Wrap down under shank, then up behind post and down.
- Tie in hackle at post/shank intersection, convex side horizontal, tip extending past eye.

- Dub thicker than abdomen thorax equally around post.
- Spin hackle around post 3 times, each turn lower than preceding turn; tie off, clip excess. Dub to eye. Use half hitch tool to finish head. Clip thread. Cement head and hackle/post junction with thinned cement.
- Trim post to mayfly wing profile.
